About

We Drive You Buy is dedicated to assisting online buyers who are unable to test drive vehicles due to distance, as well as those who may feel less experienced or confident when purchasing used cars. We will implement a comprehensive checklist that provides crucial information not easily visible in online images and descriptions, helping potential buyers make informed decisions before completing their purchase.

Our goal is to equip clients with data and insights that clarify the condition and status of used vehicles, ensuring a more transparent buying experience.

The Offerings

We offer three packages that build upon each other.  For instance, if you purchase the Premium package you also get Basic and Basic+.  Please read below for package details.

Basic ($199)

The Sniff Test

  • Is there a bad odor in the car
  • Are there signs of previous owner being a smoker?
  • Is there any visual damage  to the exterior (walk around)?
  • Wheel lock/Lug nut key available?
  • Is the car manual available?
  • Is there more than one key fob?
  • Does all doors open for the inside and outside?
  • Is the spare tire available?
  • Are all windows functional?
  • If applicable, is the sunroof/moonroof functional?
  • Does the mileage match the advertisement?
  • Does the VIN match the advertisement?
  • Is there any obvious damage to the windshield?
  • If applicable, does the backup camera work?
  • If applicable, is the vehicle software up to date?


Basic+ ($249)

Visual Checkout

  • Any Fluid Leaks?
  • Signs of rust? (Underbody, Hood, Doors, etc)
  • Tire Condition
  • Illuminated Dash Lights (e.g. Check Engine)
  • Gauge functionality
  • Consistent paint fading


Auditory Checkout

  • Any squeaks & creeks?
  • Listen for knocking sounds
  • Cold crank start up

Physical Checkout

  • Tire Alignment
  • Check transmission fluid
  • Check engine oil
  • Check brake fluid
  • Check belts for corrosion
  • Check anti-freeze
  • Shift through all gears

Premium ($299)

Vehicle Research

Provide basic research of the vehicle to understand the specific possible anomalies and concerns common to the make and model of the vehicle.  We will provide vehicle performance milestones based on vehicle mileage.


OBD II Checkout

We will provide an OBDII output that will inform you of any codes the car is currently experiencing.  We will also use the OBD II scanner to let you know if the car is ready for your state emissions test.


Electronic Checkout

We will provide a video of the checkout as it is being performed.  This will give the buyer a first person viewpoint of the vehicle checkout.  Any anomalies found during checkout will be documented by video and picture (1080p quality).
